Celebrate in style with a classic French 75 Champagne cocktail made with a twist. The perfect way to make any occasion sparkle!
The holidays may be over, but the celebrations aren’t. Today is the third birthday of my twin daughters, Charlotte & Sabrina! I honestly can’t believe that they are already three – boy has the time gone by quickly. We had a great birthday party for them yesterday with musics, puppets, princess and Dora the Explorer stickers, bagels and spreads, two very special Dora birthday cakes, and of course lots of presents!
What better way to end the day then to sit down to a cocktail to unwind from the chaos of a 3-year old birthday celebration! That and also to toast to a very special colleague and friend who shares the same birthday with my girls: Regan Miller Jones.
I’ve written about Regan before – she’s one of the founders of The Recipe ReDux and the amazing Blog Brûlée retreat I attended in September. She’s also the head nutrition communications guru at Cabot Cheese, the co-founder of Healthy Aperture, and an expert on all things food photography, social media, nutrition communications and so much more. And today she is celebrating her 40th birthday!
In honor of this special occasion, food bloggers across the country are making her a virtual celebration and toasting her with their favorite cocktails and gluten-free treats – two of her favorite things! So here is my toast to Regan and my recipe for a twist on the classic French 75 Champagne Cocktail, which is one of my favorite drinks.
